Itโs been a rough week of noโs already for some of our guys (and itโs only Tuesday ๐) but the disappointment is eased by always glowing feedback, and we couldnโt be prouder of the work they produce. Itโs tough out there. Itโs important to stay tougher. We continue on ๐ช

HOW SPOTLIGHT WORKS W/ AN AGENT (We find it's SO much easier when our actors are clued up on the workings of our side): We sub you for EVERYTHING that fits, the jobs you see, and many more you don't. It's then down to casting directors if they'd like to see you tape, (not us).

Actors - PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR SPOTLIGHT PROFILE Looking through Talent Scout and amazed how many people have nothing on there but their age. Your location, nationality, vocal range and more can be what agents and casting are looking for sometimes - give yourself every chance!

The industry is struggling. Friends and businesses are having to close their doors for good and actors are having to leave the industry. The least you can do is provide them with a service that works.
@SpotlightUK when are you going to hold yourselves accountable for being consistently DOWN for the past three days? Is it too much to ask, considering how much you now charge actors, to provide a service that works more than it doesn't?

Multiply that by the 97,000 actors on Spotlight and you can see why the Americans bought it. That's ยฃ21M a year for hosting a website!

Every time an agency closes its doors itโs devastating for us all. Our books arenโt open but if anyone affected by agency closures wants to reach out for advice, support or a friendly chat, we will certainly do our best. Love & strength to all our agent, actor & casting pals. ๐
