Our IU students paused the Newman Center Christmas party to watch the Heisman announcement. Congratulations, Fernando! What a special night also for our Catholic students when the guy they know from and see every week at Mass wins the Heisman.

One of my favorite Xavier traditions, “Christmas With Xavier.” Each year on Gaudete Sunday, we gather together and wait in anticipation of our coming Savior. Thank you to so many who made for an absolutely beautiful afternoon!

Tomorrow our 2nd grader makes his first reconciliation. Last night, he asked if we could pray the Act of Contrition. Goosebumps! Where did he learn that prayer? From his amazing XCS teachers. Catholic schools focus on the whole child. And for that, we are infinitely grateful.

46 years ago today, Ronald Reagan stopped by Regis High School (now Regis Middle School) as part of his 1980 campaign. Regis hosted many presidential candidates over the years, including a visit from Senator John F Kennedy during his 1960 campaign. A neat photo from our past!
