Watching the clock is not something I do when I'm "in the Zone". It interrupts my focus and gives me a little anxiety. I do however perform well when I set a timer to take bites out of larger tasks. How do you perform best? Is it a location that brings out your best work?

I've stayed at many hotels, both high end and economy. I've found myself in dirty hotels and clean ones. I can tell you that high end in general is clean but that is not a guarantee. Housekeepers are the frontline, but management needs to ensure that standards are met. #hotelroom

Are you feeling lucky? I seem to have more luck when I get out there and "do the work". I can sit at home and wonder if I'm ever going to get more business, or I can go knocking on doors. You guessed it, knocking on doors makes my phone ring. #Hotel #FamilyOwned #CRE #Hospitality

When you hire someone to greet your clients and deal with uncomfortable situations, they need to feel appreciated and well compensated. Saying "Good Job" is nice, but a living wage is even better. Train so they know what a "Good Job" means. Pay so they are happy to come to work.
