Something quirky about NV I've always loved. The ship, train and horse sent messages including our constitution were all delayed getting to DC so in true Nevada spirit, we sent the damn thing by telegraph so it would arrive on time. We get things done here.

Maybe, just maybe, and just stick with me here: President Trump doesn’t want SNAP benefits to continue.
USDA's position during this and prior shutdowns has been that the contingency reserve is available to pay for SNAP benefits during a funding lapse...until about 20 minutes ago, apparently.

Client calls and asks me to send him the amount of his tax balance. The text on top is the one I sent him last Thursday with the number after our phone call. The one below was sent 1 minute ago.

Anyone else on #TaxTwitter working by time zone? It's already night in Japan so that client can hold a few hours but the client in Italy I'd like to wrap up this morning before turning to the East Coast. AI can bring it on. This crap takes REAL intellegence.
