Statewide officials across the country are sounding the alarm on how Trump's budget will rip health care and food assistance away from vulnerable people, all to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. I spoke with @sarahdwire @USATODAY about what these cuts will mean for Nevadans.
States don't have the money to cover all of their new responsibilities, said Nevada Treasurer Zach Conine, and "will quickly be in a place where we have to make the decision between one group of vulnerable people or another group of vulnerable people."

As the Trump administration works to cause irreparable harm to Nevada’s budget, the Treasury has just surpassed $1.1 billion in investment returns for the State. These dollars go directly to support vital programs and services that Nevadans and their families rely on.
