Recently members of the Battalion were in France paying their respects and remembering those who died in the Second World War. Remembering the sacrifice made by those who went before us is incredibly important.

In early Jan the Battle Group made up @4RegtRA @32EngrRegt @3MedRegt and a host of others deployed to Kenya. This afternoon the last elements returned into camp. We have been tested, we have learnt and we have become better soldiers for it. Thanks @BATUKOfficial & @Army2MERCIAN

3 teams have returned from Malawi where they have been sharing their knowledge and experience. It has been a great opportunity for soldiers for @32Engr_CO @Proud_Sappers @3MedRegt @ArmySPSSM and @CO1PWRR to work alongside the Malawian soldiers and @BPST_A.

37 Sqn from @32Engr_CO have been working incredibly hard on construction tasks in Kenya in conjunction with @BATUKOfficial. The results are truly outstanding. @CorpsSM these soldiers have done a great job! Tp level projects with huge impact @ArmySgtMajor

The counter poaching course was attended by Park Rangers from the Ugandan Wildlife Agency with help from @BPST_A and @UKinUganda.

A selection of Officers and NCOs from @32Engr_CO @CO1PWRR and @4RegtRA are now in Zambia working to develop the Zambian Army and also spending time helping the local community. @7thRats @1UKDivision @rhqpwrr

Over the last few weeks the Battle Group have been working hard with @BPST_A in Uganda delivering military and counter poaching training. The Ptes and JNCOs have been delivering excellent training @InfantryComdSM @ArmySgtMajor

Over the next few weeks we are working with @BPST_A in Uganda. The teams are teaching patrol skills and support weapons. The junior commanders and soldiers are passing on their training from @IBSBrecon @armySWS1. There is still more to come @InfantryComdSM

C Coy have been training for the last few days in @BATUKOfficial. With the assistance of Pumas from 230 Sqn @RAFBenson the Coy have been conducting Platoon attacks. A few more days and they switch to live firing. @rhqpwrr @7thRats

C Coy have been adventurous training this week and are already getting back into their military training. They deploy tomorrow for upwards of 60 days. In the Coy Gp are soldiers from @4RegtRA @32EngrRegt and a handful of others from @1UKDivision
