On Sunday 7 September, Hope Haven will be hosting a stop on the nationwide Baton of Hope tour. The Hope Haven team will be on King Street in Whitehaven from 10am on Sunday with lots of fun activities, ready to welcome the Baton of Hope when it arrives at 10.50am. 1/2

The UK government is testing the Emergency Alerts system on Sunday 7 September 2025 at 3pm. Compatible mobile phones and tablets will receive an alert, make a loud siren-like sound and vibrate. You will not need to take any action. 1/2

New service Hope Haven is due to open a walk-in centre in Whitehaven, Cumbria, at the end of the year. While refurbishment on the site is under way, it's offering one-off video call appointments, which people can access without a referral from 4pm to midnight every day. 1/2
