On this day 47 years ago, PSA Flight 182 crashed in North Park, claiming 135 lives and forever shaping our community. Last year, I was honored to fulfill a promise to the victims’ families by installing a permanent memorial plaque at Dwight and Nile, site of the tragic accident.

Balboa Park belongs to the people of San Diego. That is why I voted NO on the proposal to impose paid parking in Balboa Park.
