This could get buried in all of the (mostly depressing) news out there but it’s really terrific. Outpatient prescription coverage has been the biggest gap in Canadian healthcare. And it’s ALSO great that HRT is added as well, medically that’s a very sound priority.
The CMA is pleased to see that @GovCanHealth has signed its first pharmacare agreement. This is a positive start, but there's still work to be done. Every Canadian deserves access to the medications they need – regardless of their ability to pay. Let's maintain this momentum 👏
