Today I reflect on a woman who gave me the greatest gift: because of my grandmother, it never once occurred to me that I couldn’t do something, anything, because I was a woman. I will continue to pay that gift forward, in the name of Gramma [Jean Paré]. Cheers to the ladies!

You win in life when you surround yourself with people like @CLovig and Brent Rentiers. Christy flew in to support my race, escorted me to the start line and followed me throughout the course. Brent brought Mason and Jack to the finish line despite a hectic hockey schedule.

I love runners so much.
Had a treadmill stress test @ the cardiologist and got really competitive with it. Did my whole race day routine. Wore racing flats. I *tapered* for the damn thing.
