Brought out the bag of stuffed animals and used @OPENPhysEd Toss 3 with my 1st graders to talk about what they are looking forward to over summer break. The pure enjoyment from using stuffed animals was amazing!

A tough team challenge for #PhysEd! Human caterpillar race. My students had a hard time with having the correct form for this challenge but it still brought a lot of fun and teamwork! We talked about what we can work on so next time we have better form.

Made this into fire safety activity by having Ss move to center of gym staying in hoop to stay safe. Once at middle they pretended to check door for 1st exit. I explained it was hot so they had to use 2nd exit of escape plan by heading back. Teams earned safety point each trip.
