When I saw Rian Johnson do the Q&A with Edgar Wright for THE RUNNING MAN at the Vista, Johnson was joking about how the building they want to blow up at the end could be analogous for the Netflix building and the audience just kept cheering as they were joking about it.
Tom Cruise take your daughter (Glen Powell) and go blow up the netflix headquarters, I think this would greatly improve your parent-child relationship

For me, the most depressing part of Netflix’s slow death march against theaters has been that we, as movie lovers, have been forced to root for theatrical monopolies as the only line of defense against studio monopolies. Anti-trust is just nonexistent in this country

The thing about HEAVY METAL that’ll be infuriating is it’s not like it was a surprise release which dropped while list making was too far along, nor that it was released too late in December. The first single dropped 11/19/24 and a publicist was working it, so it was in inboxes.
