Most coaches (and other leaders) rattle off the same slogans and catchphrases. Just watch clips of pregame/halftime speeches for examples. It’s not bad or wrong, but it has to be authentic. People don’t follow empty slogans, they follow leaders of substance.

@JohnBrayer I know it’s a midly hot take but if you can’t hit fungos or thrown bp you’re not a coach. Unless ofcourse you’ve had a billion surgeries and just can’t do it anymore etc. I don’t understand coaches that can’t throw strikes from 35 feet away etc
