Deeply saddened by the news of the death in Canada of my old friend Gerald Donaldson, a wonderful author and broadcaster and the shrewdest of observers in the grand prix press room. Gerry was 87 and his books included these three classics.

Love this, and it was super to see Martin Brundle catch a few words with the great champion at Abu Dhabi. Speaking of which – having watched the grid walk, Ted's Notebook and Instagram, it appears that ALL THE PEOPLE were invited to that race. More VIP passes than GA tickets?!
