Stirling & Jenks shakedown the 6-day old @MercedesAMGF1 300 SLR #0004 at Hockenheim on 26/4/55. They practice replacing the screen and changing tyres, and test an intercom. The next time this car turns a wheel it carries number 722 - to create legend.

Ohh. hello!!.
Owned since 1962. Wolseley Hornet Special with a rare Jensen coachbuilt body. 6 cylinder 1,271 cc engine. With some great history and looks a lot of fun for trials estimated at £6,000-8,000 in our October classic car auction.
