Developers could break ground on a $4 billion data center campus in western Massachusetts in the coming months, thanks to a new state tax incentive.
Data centers currently only make up 4% of US electricity demand, but that’s forecasted to triple by 2028. Frontline communities are pushing back against data centers that threaten to harm already overburdened communities.

Climate justice and migrant justice are deeply intertwined. The climate crisis disproportionately impacts marginalized communities, often forcing them to migrate, and the movement of people due to climate change is often met with inadequate or harmful responses.
