When one of my students told me his parents opened a Filipino restaurant this summer, I told him I would definitely go! We tried it tonight and it was amazing!! I love building relationships with my students' parents and this was a delicious way to do it! 🤣 @KISDBILESL

Days like this remind me of my why. One of my families, who doesn't speak any English, was struggling with all the changes this year has brought. I tried my best to help them navigate it all and as a thank you they sent me these flowers. So thankful for them! 😭 🥰 @KISDBILESL

Well this year is starting off totally normal, hahaha! Day 1 of Language testing was a SUCCESS! It felt so good to have littles in my classroom!! ❤️🌍
