Spent the day on a ride-along with our Crime Suppression Team in SF; outstanding work! One example: officers recovered a stolen e-bike just 20 minutes after it was taken and placed the suspect in custody. Exceptional teamwork and commitment to protecting our community.

Our goal is simple — to stand alongside our local partners and make CA communities safer. Crime suppression teams enable us to respond quickly to areas that need extra support, help remove dangerous criminals from the streets and give community members greater peace of mind.
California is expanding @CHP_HQ teams in key regions to bring down crime. We've seen what success looks like when investing in strategic community partnerships, and with this next phase, we're continuing the work to improve public safety throughout the state.
