At CHCC we started a journey 7 years ago to try and carve our own path. By no means have we finished what we set out to do, but it has been so special to have had our excellence recognised in so many different ways, including our recent Ofsted inspection

Year 7s are rotating around different activities in groups throughout today. This is part of their transition programme and helps them to get to know each other and improve their team work skills. You can hear the laughter and excitement from the other end of the field!😆

We had a fantastic turn out at this mornings Year 7 parental gathering. All Year 7 parents were invited into school for their first coffee morning which gave them a chance to ask any questions they may have as well as meet staff and other parents.

We’re excited to share our new Extra Curricular Timetable! There are lots of different options available including before school, lunch time and after school sessions! They are always very popular and we can’t wait to see lots of students there.

As part of our Year 7 transition programme all our Year 7 students have taken part in a PE induction this morning. They learnt about expectations as well as getting the chance to try on cricket, fencing and PE kit!🤺🏏

Our Year 10 students are taking part in a transition week. They are taking part in a variety of sessions, including homework and attendance. Today they had a talk from an ex student who shared her experiences and aspirations.

Today we welcome our new Year 7s to Crown Hills. During their transition week they will take part in a variety of activities. Today they are becoming familiar with the building, getting their planners, pencil cases & maps & are getting to know their peers and tutor. #6YearJourney

It has been lovely having some of our new Year 7s in school this week for our free summer school. They are sampling lots of different subjects, from Maths, English, PE and Science! We can’t wait to welcome them full time in September.
