Happy to share that our paper is out . Here, we provide evidence that the woman's ovarian cycle is driven by an endogenous timing system. We also find it is occasionally associated with the lunar cycle. @SRBR_Outreach @sfrms @INSV_Sommeil @InsermAuRA @CNRS_dr07

Excellent concise summary of Daniel Kahneman's book. Thank you.
After surviving the Holocaust, Daniel Kahneman became obsessed with understanding human behavior. Why did some people help Jews while others turned them in?. Why did seemingly rational people make wildly irrational choices?. The answer would take him decades to uncover.

I can only say, before reading it, that this sounds like a major paper! But I will know soon since we'll be reading and discussing it in the team this morning đ Thanks for sharing @SamerHattar and @kuruvi1, and congratulations.
I am so happy to be included on this beautiful work by the labs of Drs. Kuruvilla (@rkuruvi1) and Zhao. This work was led a truly talented graduate student, Xiangning. A thread. .

This beautiful study reminds me of your very smart ones Ludo! Back in the days when you equipped a very comprehensive rodent with a light sensor in the head and a small back-pack filled with an actimetric device. The results have always amazed me! Teaser đ.
An important study that reminds us that, given the choice, a laboratory mouse would expose itself to #light for less than 1 hour per day through a specific "light-sampling behaviour".

Very interesting paper by our Swiss friends and colleagues showing a seasonal change in sensitivity to light in humans (for melatonin suppression). @sfrms @SRBR_Outreach @EbrsOfficial @ollen44

It is well known that variations in light exposure during the day affect light sensitivity in the evening. More daylight reduces sensitivity, and less daylight increases it. On average days, we spend...
