Thanks @MattMBarrett It was a lot of work, and I’m so glad to see it helping dig into some Latin!
Congratulations to Charles Kim. What an accomplishment! His new primer on ecclesiastical Latin is fresh off the press. What a blessing for my students. My @CredoMagazine Book of the Week.

I don’t know if anyone who follows me has looked at my Latin book, but if you have, would you mind giving me a review on Amazon? Supposedly it helps people find it. I did just got my first review!

This seems to indicate that university education is too expensive to properly educate. If students cannot learn in a seminar format because the uni needs more students in seats, it is too expensive. There’s no reason that the cost of a humanities education should be that high.
I was told my performance was exemplary but honors needed to "go in a different direction." So I have no idea what the future vision for it will be. I know the seminar format has been removed/class sizes increased. I know my wonderful Asst. Dean, Matt Post, has resigned. (13/21)

Really enjoyed my conversation with @KMLamb about Augustine’s political theology. If you thought Auggie was all pessimism, Lamb brings the good to show a new side of Auggie’s political thought.
Check out our new episode tomorrow with @KMLamb about his latest book "A Commonwealth of Hope!" Thanks to Dr. Lamb for taking the time to chat with us!

I enjoyed working on this piece!
Two things set Augustine apart from many modern pastors: his reluctance to accept the position and his reliance on a network of peers to confide in and confess to. - Charles G. Kim Jr. https://t.co/DEUaV2Gl1C

OK: the interest is clear, so here we go! The All-of-Cicero Give-away could win you the complete works of Tully, in Latin, in 1 vol (printed 1850, since rebound & sturdy). Just retweet this message, make sure you follow us, and a winner will be picked at random on Friday evening!
Exciting news Antigonids! We've acquired a new Nobbe (for £10 in this fallen world 😅), which means we have one to spare. If you don't know already, this is ALL of Cicero printed in nearly 3000 columns of text in ONE chunky vol (1850). It is delicious. 100 likes and we'll raffle!

Today Trump's USDA nominee, Brooke Rollins, told Congress that she will force states to allow the sale of pork from crated pigs. States banned these sales to stop animal cruelty. The conservative Supreme Court upheld those bans. Only pork industry lobbyists want this change.

Anecdotally, I hear so many stories of men going to the “apostolic churches” from low church evangelical backgrounds. This seems to suggest that it is a very small subset.
71% of men who were raised evangelical are still evangelical. It's 65% of men who were raised Catholic and 54% of those who were raised in the mainline. Where do defectors end up? The most popular landing spot is non-religious.

Thanks Ronni!
Always appreciate podcast hosts who actually read the material and seek to bring depth to the conversation. That was my experience with @CGKIMJR on his @theologyxian podcast, we discussed my work on incomprehensibly with @ivpacademic.
