An honour to visit the city of Yamato-Takada, the first Japanese city to establish sister-city relations with an Australian city, Lismore, and to meet Mayor Horiuchi. Hope to see ever stronger and deeper ties between the two cities!

Today marks the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2. I was honoured to participate in the Commemoration at Martin Place and pay respect to those who served for Australia. We remember the past and go forward together. Lest we forget.
