The order by Malawi’s Chief Justice to expedite the process on the thin plastics case, comes timely in celebrating this Earth Day. It beats our imagination to learn that the case's file went missing. How on earth?

Plastic waste is harming our Earth’s biodiversity. In Malawi, around 75,000 tonnes of plastic is produced each year, of which 80% is single-use that cannot be recycled ⚠ Today, CEPA joins the call to demand a 60% reduction in the production of all plastics by 2040 📢
