I'm always on the look out for ways to share Beef Love: how to buy it, how to cook it and how to enjoy it. Tough job but someone has to do it!

Would a cancer group recommend cigarettes? Yet here's the largest group of nutritonists/dieticians recommending a recipe of sugar, white flour, seed oils, chocolate chips, and v. sugary fruit. Eat this daily and you are v. likely to be on your way to obesity, t2 diabetes, etc 1/

As a kid, my favourite thing about school were the field trips. Nothing has changed and field trips are still my favourite. Canada is a beautiful country and BC has some amazing cattle that climb mountains and maintain grasslands. More to come from me this week! #CDNBeefConf

First US dietary guidance in 1977 aimed to increase carbohydrates from 28% to 45% of calories. So in 1977, we were ALL eating what today we'd call a "low-carb" diet. Let's just go back to how we ate in the 70s. When obesity was below 15% #LCHF #diabetes https://t.co/u26rGXZRcP

On this #EarthDay, we thought we'd share a little perspective! Cattle play an important role in preserving Canada's vital grasslands, check out this documentary "Guardians of the Grasslands" to learn all about how our industry contributes to our ecosystem

Grass fuels fire, but it also fuels cattle. Watch the short documentary ""Too Close to Home"" to learn how cattle are reducing wildfire risk in areas like Kelowna and Cranbrook, BC. Register through the link today to catch the live screening on April 20th:

Has 4 stomachs to digest grass, chewing regurgitated form then swallowing again. One is called a rumen, hence ruminating. #cows #cowsoftwitter #WednesdayThoughts #ruminants

Given this confirmation of errors in GBD2019 related to🥩 & given the impact of GBD publications on dietary policy worldwide, it's in the public interest for Dr.Murray & @TheLancet to jointly #RETRACT the GBD2019 Risk Factor’s paper If you agree with these concerns, please RT 4/n

Is choosing chicken over beef a healthier? Lean ground beef has more iron, zinc, selenium and vitamin B12, while lean ground chicken leads in potassium and vitamin B6. Since 'lean means lean' according to Canadian labelling laws, they both have the same maximum fat content.
