It’s been a tragic week for the city, and we’ll do all we can to stop it happening again. But the weather is nice and children are off school this week, so please watch this short video and show it to anyone who might be playing around water. 🚒

Another tragic reminder that #CO does not discriminate. As the summer is approaching a timely reminder to take a portable #COalarm with you if you're travelling abroad. It could save you and your family. https://t.co/xMqx6Ygpdo

Did you know that carbon monoxide is responsible for an estimated 400 deaths and 20,000 emergency room visits each year in the United States alone? This silent killer is a serious threat to the health and well-being of our communities. #CarbonMonoxideAwareness #StaySafe

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a poisonous gas, which can kill quickly with no warning. Don’t mistake the symptoms for the flu. Gas appliances that are badly fitted or faulty can put you at risk. Always use a Gas Safe registered engineer. #gassafe #carbonmonoxide #csplumbandheat

Cats, dogs, birds, and other pets are at risk of CO poisoning just like humans. Symptoms can range from lethargy and vomiting to seizures and even death. Don't take chances with your pet's well-being. Install CO detectors and have your HVAC systems checked regularly. #NCOAA
