I see folks everyday that are concerned and doing good work to support our adaptation to climate change. We can all do our part. The environmental movement continues. 🌎

Earth Day is everyday. And today I reflect on leading creek cleanups for 15 yrs. My favorite parts of this work - seeing ppl volunteering for the first time and then saying they'll be back. and seeing how much a small group of folks can accomplish in a short amount of time 💪🏽

Sad to see this go. Early in my career, I used to work in the building for an environmental consulting company doing lab work. Beautiful location. Was so nice working basically on the Bay.

Another Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day on the Richmond Greenway. I've been involved for 10+ years and to see its beginnings to where it is now is a great story of community and service. It's been a while since I've seen so many volunteers on the Greenway. Heartwarming to see it.

Currently at the Delta Protection Commission's Delta Heritage Forum here at the Antioch Historical Antioch Museum. Today's theme is " Creating Community Through Heritage." I appreciate the focus on stoytelling and connecting with young people @CA_DPC

Feeling extremely fortunate and humbled to be invited to a cultural burn today with Café Ohlone at the CSUEB-Concord campus. This hasn't happened for native families in generations in Contra Costa County.

Great experience at my first @saastr conference. Definitely different than the environmental conferences I usually attend. Tech is a different world but the idea is to learn from each other and see how tech can amplify restoration work.
