OTD in 1880, Morris Raphael Cohen, namesake of our very own Cohen Library, was born in Minsk. Cohen attended CCNY and served as Prof. of Philosophy from 1912-1938. The library was dedicated to him in 1953 to honor his highly-respected work as a philosopher, and educator.

Congrats to our 2022 graduates! Here is a photo of the fifth CCNY president, Frederick B. Robinson, and his son ca. 1927-1938. He was the first CCNY alumna to go on to become president of the college. Perhaps we have another CCNY president graduating this week!
