Ministers will agree on eel fishing closures in EU waters at #AGRIFISH_Council today. Protecting silver eel spawning migration is key to protect the future of this critically endangered species.
The @ICES advice for #European_eel for 2025 is out: zero catches for all life stages, all uses and in all habitats. Other anthropogenic mortalities reduced to zero and habitats restored. Most countries with eel in their waters have a very long way to go. https://t.co/pRE7M2ZSPF
