Vital Signs: Another world is possible, is an engaging exhibition on climate change. It was really good to see visitors listening to CASH's testimony on #airpollution from the Green Quarter including staff from @Breathe_London.

Children in Southall are growing up with #airpollution from vehicles, building sites including the Green Quarter, two asphalt plants in Hayes, bonfires, the illegal burning of waste and incinerators. Their reduced life expectancy isn't fair.

The Green Quarter Gasworks is a live building site and dust swirls around in windy conditions irritating the nose & throat. An area of contamination by a footpath to the Grand Union canal was discovered only a few months ago. #Southall.
@deirdrecostigan The particulate matter PM10 and PM2.5 which is in the dust circulating on the former gasworks site causes respiratory difficulties. I have written to you twice to support Zane's Law, to tighten up on the law concerning contaminated land such as gasworks & landfill. No reply yet.
