We recently welcomed @alex_moerseburg to the CEU! . In his previous work with @IMS_MRL & @MRC_Epid .he built a protein-based “aging clock” using data from 44k+ people . Having #type2diabetes & higher #BMI were associated with faster biological aging . 👉

Well done to Spencer Keene and colleagues!. Their study shows higher blood troponin levels link to greater risk of heart attack/stroke. Testing could prevent 1 event for every 500 people at intermediate risk 🫀.
