#CenterFire [final] Firefighters have hose line around the entire perimeter. The fire is holding at 3-4 acres. Crews are still working on cutting containment line. Dramatic change in conditions shown on the @ALERTCalifornia Doe Mill camera from 1 hour ago, 30 minutes ago, now.

Today marks one year since the devastating #ParkFire began and touched the lives of so many. Starting at approximately 3 p.m., under red flag conditions, the fire quickly spread in a northerly direction and into multiple communities in Butte County and ultimately, Tehama County.

#altafire {FINAL} : the fire is 95% contained. Resources have pulled hoselays and are completing their day shift shortly. This fire will transition into patrol status tomorrow, meaning one fire engine will periodically check the fire over a 3 day period. Stay ready Butte County!

#altafire {Evening Update}: The fire is 75 percent contained, with direct control lines constructed around the perimeter, and remains at 17 acres. 1 fire engine will remain at the scene until 11:00 p.m. tonight. Tomorrow, we will have one hand crew and one fire engine assigned.

#altafire {Update} The fire size is 17 acres after accurate mapping from ground troops. The fire is approximately 20% contained with forward progress stopped at 1:50 p.m. today. Engine personnel and Handcrews will remain at scene several more hours patrolling and mopping up.
