Why wouldn't the US be inspired by this?.
People supply wBTC for 0% APR to borrow USDT for 10% APR. They pay 10% per year on the loan and if they use the USDT unwisely, Bitcoin dumps, they get liquidated and the protocol retains the wBTC collateral, so over time it grows a Bitcoin treasury and with BTC grows the TVL.

The borrow APR of wrapped Bitcoin is currently at 0.4%. The supply APR of Ethereum at 2% on Aave. If Ethereum outperforms by a lot and Bitcoin remains somewhat stable. .

And I am aware this is most likely about yield farming. And the protocols are being rinsed for yield constantly. But this is actually crazy. It makes zero sense except if you have zero clue about what to do with your money. Don't engage with protocols, just hold your coins rn.

The bank reserves are a bad metric. If you look at the FFR and the RRP, you get a much better picture. Also note that if you paid a lot of attention to the drain on bank reserves during 2017-2018, you would have been entirely sidelined on Bitcoin as it rallied from 3k to 20k.

You can actually do a test drive or just rent it for a bit to see if you like it. I would probably go for older Porsche models that keep their value and have more leather and real materials.
