You might do that in a moment when you’re totally gassed, hoping you might save a step for the next play. I seriously doubt they all collectively quit after playing that long and hard for the joy of saying they won the Alamo Bowl, which no one would give them credit for anyway
@byjoelanderson Is that the story you’re going with? I see 3-4 players who stop or slow down because they think someone else is making the play or he’s going out of bounds than suddenly speed up when they see him break free
