From 2-8 in 2017, to 11-4 Class 8A State Champs what a turnaround for Mandarin. Only the second public school state 🏈 title 🏆💍 in Duval history. Way to go Mandarin !!!
Mandarin 37, Columbus 35 Final
For many of you tomorrow will be the final time you walk out on the field with your brothers and also put on the pads one final time. Take it all in one final time, soak it up, smell the grass etc, cause when its gone you will miss it all even 25 years later. Trust me !!!
ITS OFFICIAL: second year West Florida will play for the Division II national football title next week with a 27-17 win over No. 1 Indiana PA !!! 14 local players from the 904 on this team.

@SAHSJackets
has the West Florida Argonauts back in the DII title game for the second time in four years. Argos, No. 4, will play No. 2 Minnesota State for the National Title next Saturday at 3 pm on ESPNU in Frisco, Texas.
Demario Douglas came up huge for the Mandarin Mustangs. One of the many reasons the Mustangs will play in the very last high school football game of the 2018 season in Orlando.
Made It home, same can’t be said for student attending the game. Seeing kids cry and and totally lose it is rough and should never happen especially at a football game. Prayers for Raines. Still a little shook up, had to hug my family, my kid was terrified.
Two months ago if I would have said only two local teams would have made it to state, like everyone else you would assumed Trinity and Raines. What a remarkable run by Mandarin, it was an unbelievable atmosphere tonight in the Corral.
I remember someone saying the 850 was better than the 904 about a week ago.
Bolles > Godby
Trinity > Wakulla
UC > Maclay
Taylor > St Joseph
That’s 3-1 this week

Three huge reasons why attendance has been declining in Florida
1. Noon games in 100 degree weather
2. Beach is about two hours away
3. Non conference games are pathetic

Terrible news today. I got to know Coach Dorsey really well when he was coach at Matthew Gilbert led them to a dynasty. Was head coach at Jackson and Parker.
