No point chanting productivity mantra if it’s code for slashing jobs/increasing profit for few.Discussion should focus on utilising AI to make jobs more interesting for humans, lifting output so we get high wage/employment/ output economy & all benefit. Key is consulting workers.

Employers calls for AI to be unregulated is a recipe for disaster. Without employee input over the use of AI - it simply becomes a tool for massive job destruction and no productivity. We need a regulatory approach to ensure job security and productivity uplift ACTU has it right
