This guy is going to be an All-Pro at some point. Joe Douglas hit a home run here. So happy to be wrong about him

That may have been the most fun I have had watching a Jets QB since Favre threw 6 TDs against Arizona (sad I know)
I don’t know if this needs to be said but I am fully rooting for Justin Fields to develop into our guy. Having a quarterback that can move like that is absolutely electric and I don’t want to go back.

That’s why taking the chance on him was the move over AR. He’s 26 and there is a chance at longterm potential here (albeit a small one). Worst case he is a good backup and replaces Tyrod next season
"If the Justin Fields that we saw yesterday is here to stay, he can be the Jets' quarterback for the next 10 years and take the Jets to the playoffs year after year after year. I genuinely believe he's that good." - @Connor_J_Hughes with @ZackBlatt on Jets Final Drive

guy wastes two years with the team, makes them sign all of his friends, gets their coach and GM fired on his way out, and acts like they've wronged him lmfao
Aaron Rodgers asked about beating Aaron Glenn after the way their exit interview went: “I was happy to beat everyone associated with the #Jets.”

Kept his eyes downfield whenever he left the pocket. The Steelers defense is really good too. He just flat out balled yesterday
Big boy play/throw by Fields on 3rd-10. Steps up in the pocket, sees the S dropping down on Johnson, throws it away from his leverage on the move. Great job by Fashanu on Watt and Isaiah Davis in pass pro

Idk if he keeps this up but the Jets made the right move either way. 41 year old QB with that cap hit made no sense for a 1st year HC/GM/OC. With that said Rodgers has some good ball left. He is a better fit for a team like the Steelers who won’t ask him to be Superman

This….then a 60 yard FG that would’ve been good from 70 to win the game, the Jets are deeply deeply cursed

No one thinks he is a bad QB. He just doesn’t get to use the coaching excuse considering HE CHOSE the play caller on offense. Not sure why that just gets swept under the rug
Why do Jets fans believe Rodgers can’t play anymore? My people, last year was on the Jets coaching, not Rodgers, and it was so damn obvious. He was excellent today. Realize that, please. The Jets D didn’t play well, but let’s not pretend as though the sisters of the poor just

Can’t catch one break it really is nuts
Proud of this team. Wish the ball would bounce our way. Just one time. #Jets

To recap - Rodgers felt slighted by the Jets, who: - paid him $74 million over 2 years, - gave him everything and any player he wanted, - he took the ball out of Breece Hall’s hands - He alienated Garrett Wilson, the team’s best young player. Take a walk.
