2024 was a SPECTACULAR year for Broxburn Academy's wonderful pupils! Out of the seven senior debating competitions this year, Broxburn won FIVE! Emma C also won the UK wide Historical Association Great Debate - and Lena Z became a world champion with Scotland! What a year! πππ

It was a brilliant start to the new season yesterday as BOTH Broxburn teams made the Gold Final of the Ayr Debating Cup! Huge congratulations to Lena & Sarah who finished 2nd, and Lucy & Emma C who finished 4th! π

Last night @broxburnacademy excelled themselves in Sarah (14) and Emma (16). They were amazing! Huge thanks to The Ayes - @_KateForbes and Jim Eadie, and to The Noes - @DavidDavisMP and Sir Brian Donohoe. The Motion was #Independence and of course @_TheAyesHaveIt!
