This year our Speak Up Scotland programme delivered 60 workshops to over 1,000 young people around Scotland, from Thurso to the Borders. And we’re just getting started!.

It’s a busy week for Scottish debating! After a brilliant day at the Highland Schools Debating Competition in Dingwall yesterday, we’re off to Ayr to judge at the Ayrshire Cup today. Best of luck to all the schools taking part!.

Interested in judging a debate? We're running an online workshop for volunteer judges on Wednesday 7th May. This workshop is suitable for all experience levels and will cover everything you need to know about adjudication.

The senior division of our Public Speaking Competition Grand Final saw participants give speeches on the topic ‘The most misunderstood concept in the world’. We were blown away by the powerful speeches and thoughtful answers to our judges’ questions.
