My now ex looked at me in my face and said "I didn't sign up to take care of a cripple the rest of my life..." I had a MASSIVE intracranial hemorrhagic stroke the day before my 40th birthday (brain bleed - 6 years ago) that paralyzed my entire left side. I left her that very day!

Same here. My sister always says she can’t eat soup in the summer. That’s crazy. I can eat gumbo at 3am every single day or she crab soup or lobster bisque or about any soup. And I love to cook soups, stews, bisques, chowders, chilis, etc. I get very creative.

Today is the 6th year anniversary of my MASSIVE, deadly, paralyzing, intracranial hemorrhagic stroke. More importunately, that means tomorrow is the 6th birthday since I almost didn't turn 40. I am happy to live to see birthdays, so I'm totally cool with turning 46 tomorrow.
