This is the right response. AWS and the linux kernel probably shouldn't be vibe coded. For you little to-do list where your mom doesn't even use it, vibe coding is fine.

Correct. The entire education pipeline is broken and filled with fake grades. That used to be identifiable by standardized tests until we threw those out because they showed us what we didn’t wish to be true. Now everyone gets perfect grades and no one knows anything.
the ucsd story was way worse than what i gleaned from the tweets, a whole public education pathway appears to have broken down because it's optimized around not having the appearance of inequity instead of teaching people things
