I'm looking for Masters students to join my lab in fall of 2025! Work could focus on either field-based studies of plant community ecology and trait-based ecology and/or computational work (on any taxa with data) focusing on questions in community ecology or macroecology.

The bad news? Scientists are overwhelming failing to share their code, with little improvement over time. This bodes poorly for the current state of reproducibility, but we hope that the prospect of increased citation rates encourages more scientists to publish their code!.

Good news, everyone! Our new paper, out now in @Ecol_Evol provides evidence that scientists can increase their citation rates by publicly sharing their code! Even better, you get a larger increase by meeting other #OpenScience criteria! @rOpenSci .
