I recently got banned from YouTube because I had a discussion w/ another doc about what we were seeing in clinic. It was labeled as " medical misinformation" by the fact checkers. Amazing that they know better about what we're seeing in clinic than us docs do.

For those who don't understand, what @P_McCulloughMD did on @joerogan was the equivalent of a 5 star general taking the hill without cover while the infantry hides in foxholes. His courage and self sacrifice should inspire all physicians to be better doctors and people.

When I was a young doctor, whenever we saw shingles in young people our first thought was checking for HIV. I've talked w/ 4 family friends under the age of 50 with shingles in the past 5 days. This is pretty odd. None have HIV risk factors. They do have one thing in common.

It would be great if the Surgeon General and Fauci went on @joerogan to clear up the "misinformation" that he is spreading. This would give them a huge platform to educate us all and set Joe straight with their "information." They can give us the science to prove they are right.

Throughout my career people have asked me how I could believe in God & be a scientist. In the past 6 months, my faith in science has plummeted & my faith in God has soared by necessity. The power of faith & hope will sadly never be understood by those who could use it the most.

@misterchambo @TPostMillennial I would love to see the "experts" have a public debate with @P_McCulloughMD @DrJBhattacharya @akheriaty @PierreKory and @SabinehazanMD over policies. This would clear up a lot of confusion and speculation. I know which side would be very hesitant.

These brilliant scientists don't all lose their minds at the same time and sacrifice their brilliant careers for the glory of being ridiculed and denounced. They do it because they care about science and people.

Let's also remember that Prof John Ioannidis is the most cited living medical scientist. Ignoring his opinion is not usually a wise choice.
