My point was how about everyone help raise the money (70k?), put their name on line if it doesn’t r happen. The fun and easy part is picking the team and going. Spend 3 months selling hats…I promise you will have a voice/vote in it. Raise 70k you likely can race on the team.
@BrettLeemx @pulpmx Devils advocate here (no issue with KL’s team - time to support it) - maybe we should have a few Canadian insiders help make the decision. Just so all the pressure isn’t on 1 person, and all the “blame” when things go array. Helps in these situations

Easy on the print money… Outdoor mx promotion is passion driven. IF it was easy money there be large promotion companies pushing into the space. Nationals allow infrastructure investments, tourism dollars, sponsorship opportunities that drive the business over the yr.
@thedortondad I believe, not 100% sure, track pays MX Sports flat fee & they get all ticket sales. Weather comes & they're screwed tho. But in the end, as I said, these tracks are printing money.

It depends what WSX wants to be. World Championship events of any type are not testing platforms to understand new technology. Yes E technology will race along side combustion one day but brought along in testing and showcase events, not SMX, World GP and not WSX?
I don’t have followers to spark a huge conversation but I’m interested none the less. Should e-bikes race against combustion engines in Supercross??

There is a lot of pieces to why it is or isn’t somewhere.Feld does alot of events in TDOT & may not play nice,Montreal doesn’t want to hold the bag and their rental is high.I think the main take away from Carls post is he is a racist idiot without good sense to keep his yip shut.
@BrettLeemx Other than the racism, is he wrong? Vancouver is not the place to hold a solitary Canadian event. Toronto or I hate to say it Montreal would be the logical answers based on history. Its WORLD SX the world seeing an empty stadium will be a stain on Canadian Mx

MXDN in Canada has been by far the most divisive and polarizing exercise in Canadian moto for as long as it has been managed under CMA. And that is a real shame - we have a lot to celebrate as a community. A strong MXON result will be in-spite of CMA not because of them.
Right? Also, yeah maybe start this a littler earlier? Maybe get some industry people behind it? Nope, just ask people for money

What a great day of racing @TransCan as even the late motos had challenging but solid track conditions. Spoke to Josh Bryan who finished 2nd in 250 Int moto and he said the track was best it’s been all week. And he raced at 6:45. Well done @waltonraceway track crew!
