Every time this happens to Chase he has every right to be pissy, an asshole or not even talk, but he shakes his competitors hands and speaks normal at these post race interviews. Impressive and very cool.
Kids revving their engines at other slower dudes at local tracks is a problem these days. It’s a pandemic that is spreading but some blue collar brick shithouse iron worker guy is going to kick some 140 pound fast kid’s ass and maybe then there will be a cure.
Every morning I give my kid a kiss and tell him to be nice to someone at school. Today I learned from his teacher that he stuck up for a mentally challenged kid that was getting picked on by bullies. That a boy Aden!
#FuckYouBullies
I like Bogle. He is human. He is normal. He talks speaks well and you can tell it’s from the heart. Not scripted, not filtered. Real. I like real people.
Just watched Indy! When
@AdamCianciarulo
podiums again in SX, I might cry. Not going to lie. Dude has been through some shit and he’s still fighting like hell. Plus he’s not a dick so that is awesome too!
Just a random thought. I hear these dads around the track say “I love you” to their kids and most of them (especially boys) never say it back. WTF? Have respect and love for your parents, kids. It’s not un-manly to say “I love you too” back to your father.
You know what’s fun as shit. Battling with my kid everyday when we ride. We are always within 1 second of each other at every track! It can go either way on any given day. Loving this time with him. Kid is keeping me young.
I can’t believe it’s here! The time has come where I find my tools laying all over the shop becuase my teenage son is starting to do his own bike maintenance. I can hear my dad’s voice now from when I was my son’s age! “Where the fuck is my 10mm socket”?! 🤦🏼
Stoked for Aden as he gets to ride the Scouting Moto Combine at Pala next weekend. All he needs is
@pulpmx
to wrench for him and that should take him to the top! 🤘🏻
To our industry... Just be good humans and treat others like you want to be treated. A little courtesy or a double check will not hurt your business. It’s just dirt bikes.
Any riders (well, two max) that are coming back out here from the east coast to race Pala and need a place to stay/wash bikes/home cooked meals, my wife and I are happy to help. I know it’s a crap ton of $ to come back out so trying to help.
From what I heard Number 2 is happy with his bike and asked to “just ride” and not test the past couple weeks. If he’s that cozy already this could be fun this weekend boys and girls.
Peeps saying Jett was rude after Southwick moto because his water bottle wasn’t right or whatevs but when you’re hot and your HR is high AF you have a tendency to have less patience. I get it. I freak out on Heather for a lot less after moto. All riders need 10 minutes post moto.
10 riders were drug tested at Unadilla and all 10 passed. Just FYI.. Continue on with your day. Didn’t know if that was out there in the world or not..
Few reasons why I like Alex Martin. His podium speeches are honest, raw, understands when he makes a mistakes, gives props to other riders, just a good dude.
In my latest pod “Which Bike Is Right For You” I talk about how important dirt bikes are for kids. We have to keep kids on dirt bikes. It kept me out of trouble when I was a kid and taught me responsibility. Parents, use the dirt bike as a tool to mold a great human. Not racer.
2nd o/a at the ranch. Didn’t ride like myself all week but even if I did Brownie was still the man of the week. I came here burnt out but since I got my ass kicked, it has reignited that flame.
Here’s what I like about moto. Aden sucked today (arm pump). So we had a thirty minute drive home to talk and discuss things as a team. Life (racing) is hard so we talked about nerves, expectations as well as managing emotions which is all racing and life lessons.
Congrats to all the riders. That was fuckin cool! I had butterflies like I was racing! Props to the privateers and great job Steven for helping these dudes.
To all you kids/vets out there. Your feet don’t have to be perfect ALL the time to go fast on a dirt bike. These balls of your feet posts are out of control. Yes, it’s good to find the balls of your feet, but it’s not going to be the deciding factor if you’re fast or not.
Does the 22-0 match up with the 24-0? I feel like a perfect season is a perfect season, no matter what right? I know we can’t “assume” in moto but to me it’s the same as RC and JS 24-0 IMO.
Do you guys like the way Triumph is breaking the new MX bike down piece by piece? I think it’s kinda cool from a testing stand point. Leading up to the act is almost better than the actual act at times! 🤣 I’m here for it!
A1 Press Thoughts: Tomac looked the most aggressive. Mookie racked his nuts. Barcia doing diff rhythms. Track is softer than I have seen in a while. Lars is still cool even though he’s tram manager. I heard the word “bro” 48 times in two hours.
