I had a great time in the Town of Indian Head with my friend Mayor @BrandonPaulin to learn about how they brought a grocery store to a food desert. Food insecurity has been an issue I've worked on for years and it was great to see the work they've done here in Southern Maryland.

Great to be back in Charles County today to visit the new Oasis Fresh Foods Market in Indian Head, Maryland. @MDHousing is proud to partner with Oasis, a community-based, independent grocery store, and the Town of Indian Head’s first dedicated grocery in over twenty years.
