Our paper on genetic regulation of DNA methylation in human tissues was published today in @NatureGenet. This work was led jointly by Meritxell Oliva, Lin Chen, and myself using samples and data from @GTExPortal.

We generated targeted sequencing data for the 10q24.32 region in (1) Strong Heart Study, (2) New Hampshire study of skin cancer, and (3) Health Effects of Arsenic Longitudinal Study. Each cohort has well-documented exposure to arsenic through drinking water.
