HS Baseball Players Heard this today regarding the recruiting process from a D1 coach: "How a player treats his parents matters an awful lot. If he shows lack of respect towards his parents we don't want him in our program - regardless of talent" Read that 100 times.

The most Italian thing I did growing up in grade three when our teacher told us to pick a leaf off of a tree, trace it, and talk about why the leaf is important/meaningful. Kids tried to find Leafs that looked like the Maple Leaf while I picked a leaf off my Nonnos fig tree.

Canadians throw away 3 million tonnes of plastic waste every year. 15 billion plastic bags a year. 57 million straws a day. They end up in our oceans, beaches, parks and streets. And this has to stop. We owe it to our planet, and to our kids.
