25,095 brand-new books are now on the way to our partners in Sierra Leone, including SALBOT, Street Child and the Sierra Leone Library Board. This brings the total number of books sent so far this year to 606,587. Thank you for supporting us to do this.

Our latest shipment to Malawi has left our warehouse. 18,801 brand-new books are on the way to partners at Malawi National Library Service, Mzuzu University & Learning Centre and Malawi College of Health Services. The total number of books sent so far this year is 562,257.

We were so sorry to see the damage to @PenUkraine's warehouse, but are glad that everyone is safe following the attack by Russia. We continue to stand by PEN Ukraine and all our partners affected by conflict, as they work to provide books to those who most need them.
This is a book depository in Kyiv where we store English and bilingual books for local libraries in frontline areas. It was damaged during massive Russian missile strike. Around 11,000 books were inside at the time of the attack. The ceiling collapsed, windows shattered. (1/4)
