The thing I’m most excited about in crypto is DarkFi. @Narodism is a legend and embodies everything I once loved about crypto. He lives and breathes it. We are still alive and well folks, just took a wrong turn :)
Introducing our first major user-facing release: DarkFi super-app alpha. Anonymous p2p chat via DarkIRC chat network. Access DarkFi with a single click.

Everyone's chasing the next 100x shitcoin while governments are building financial panopticons. CBDC rollouts. Biometric verification. Transaction monitoring. Social credit integration. DarkFi isn't a speculative bet. It's infrastructure and user-facing products. Let there be

A factor in my exit from Consensys was the stupid amount of head-space it was taking responding to the SEC's unhinged subpoenas, though our fabulous legal team bore 99% of the load. They eventually hired an entire lawyer just to work on this. Arbitrary and capricious indeed.
@milesjennings 1st, lame not to @ me 2nd, there’s a reason Uni decided to launch the fee switch now. “Less regulatory hostility” means “yes this clearly was illegal back before crypto purchased the WH” 3rd, call is coming from inside the house; I’m paraphrasing the original defi post QT’d

we’ve been so divided in crypto, so I want to thank @amandalfischer for uniting us all
This site is filled with posts talking about Uni’s switch to centralization because it was never a core philosophical value but a regulatory shield.

You tried to hand a centralized monopoly on crypto exchange in the US to FTX I built the largest decentralized marketplace in the world And she says decentralization isn’t one of my values? This crashout is insane lmao Not everything you read on twitter is true Amanda

If anyone left on earth is wondering what we meant by hostile sec Amanda was genslers right hand No law degree, no understanding of the tech, just seething politicized hate for DeFi Obv our lawyers don’t think uni is a security, before or after unification
@haydenzadams Turning on the fee switch makes UNI even more security-like & I guarantee you that you've had private conversations with your counsel saying as much. The only reason you're doing it now is because your industry bought the WH & therefore illegal securities offerings are now fine.

The fact that we were restricted in how we operated while you + gensler weaponized the government against us simply proves the chilling effect that a weaponized agency can have It’s not evidence of anything else Fuck you for thousands of wasted hours of my life

yesterday Ledger announced a new Safe multisig interface that supports clear signing. Overall a good move, I thought (interface diversity is good). Well, guess what, they charge a "Multisig Fee" on top of gas: $10 flat for normal txs, 0.05% for token transfers. You might say
