Chris Cenac is a highly unusual big prospect. Will be diving into his game tomorrow!

I love this kid’s game. Honestly don’t think he needs to stretch the floor to be a great nba player.

I’m telling you this team has a passing super power. Cayden Boozer is an incredible passer as well, and I think Sarr will excel as a connective piece. Not to mention Brown who is an elite passing big man off the bench. Expect a lot of short roll/high-low type actions.

The 2026 draft class has some really good passers - especially guys who can pass the rock who are not guards . Here's a rough ranking of the top ones - arguably the top 3 all play for Duke! . Will be interesting to see how Scheyer uses their passing ability. #NBAdraft

So much of being a great nba player is just about staying healthy. Does the American system just put THAT much more wear and tear on our top athletes that the injury rate becomes too high?.

Something just clicked for me:. All the talk about the best players being international lately… does it have more to do with the American system creating injuries?. How different does the nba look if guys like.AD.Kawhi.PG.Zion.Parker.Fultz.Even Harry Giles.Stay healthy?.

I know this is mostly a joke probably. But I love reminding the fanbase how good Jah was. He should’ve been the POY. Offensively, he was probably Duke’s best freshman in the OAD era outside of Zion.

In other words, the points per possession on those shots needs to be in line with your teams avg PPP in half court possessions.

Generally speaking I think bigs shooting 3s is only worth the points those shots score. It doesn’t have nearly the spacing impact that people think it does. Unless you are a lethal shooter, teams are usually conceding those shots anyways.

it's a good weapon to have (i.e. to mix in an odd pick an pop, trailing three or just being able to knock down a wide open three) but there's still way too much emphasis on big men shooting threes. Generally there's way more important offensive indicators (feel, off rebounding,.

RT @jespvaag: Wendell Carter Jr has been anchoring a top 3 defense two years in a row and gets put in trade ideas for Gabe Vincent.

If defense is better than offense, this team might be approaching what they were last year. There really isn’t an offensive weakness for this team. It’s a perfect ball of clay for one of the best offensive coaches in the sport right now.

1. Cam Boozer, even better than in high school. Should have an immediate Cooper Flagg-like impact. 2. Aggressive Caleb Foster = good Caleb Foster.3. Darren Harris WILL play. 4. More Isaiah Evans handling/playmaking than I expected. 5. Defense > offense, easily. More to come soon!.

Cameron Boozer should easily have a 20%+ DREB for Duke this season as he gobbles up space like it’s nothing. That should be a constant source of early offense for the Blue Devils as their new big is excellent at launching outlet passes for easy layups in transition

Correct. Tatum was one of my favorite players EVER to watch up to that point. I LOVED watching him in HS and at Duke. But he had some flaws. Fultz was at minimum, at the same level as a prospect. In my eyes he was a little better.

For some reason I think this game haunts me more than the Houston game. And one of the biggest reasons was this play. Not because it almost went in, but because it took the only sequence of bounces that could have prevented a Bagley rebound.

How did this not fall?. Revisit Grayson Allen's shot that nearly flipped the Kansas-Duke outcome 😱
