People really think every scene in a movie has to be plot based and i'm like pls give me weird sex scenes, give us over the top gore, give us weird visions that don't mean anything, give us shots of beautiful scenery just because. Plot isn't everything.
I think the trans community deserves a response from
@AskTarget
@Target
as to why they are selling this book about the “transgender epidemic sweeping the country”
Trigger Warning : Transphobia
I saw Monkey Man last night and y'all, *small spoiler* there is a group of trans women monk warriors and they are badass cop killers, so you should definitely see it asap !!
I actually had someone message me to tell me that she was accidentally doing this and isn't transphobic. They linked to her sharing a transphobic article written by transphobe in her "defense". Listen, if you wanna defend "accidental" gender critical fascism then fuck off.
As A Woman is an essential and beautiful piece of trans history that must be preserved and available to the public. I need your help saving this fantastic work of art from being lost to time. Please share and donate if you can!
I am excited to officially announce that I'm working in partnership with the Barry Kay Archive on a special second edition release of the 1976 photo essay 'As A Woman'. (A look into the lives of 1970's Australian trans women.) I will be posting updates as the project continues!
This is exactly right. By linking autism and transness they are able to claim trans identity as a symptom of a disability. Making laws to "protect the mentally vulnerable" is just an excuse to hurt more trans people. They don't actually want to protect anyone.
Listen I get morbius being a meme but with the movie actually getting more views and potentially getting a sequel made, I just want to remind everyone that Jared Leto is a known pedophile and abuser.

It's crazy that leatherface is actually an alien at the end of the new chainsaw film and the entirety of texas is run by a secret organization powered by kids screams
Here is an example of a man being forced to compete with women because he is trans. Seeing people say this is what cis people wanted, but it isn't. The truth? The truth is that cis people don't want trans people to compete (or exist) at all.
This is huge. Not only are they not doing these surgeries but they aren’t doing follow ups for complications. These are peoples lives we are talking about.
Will Ferrell said he had “zero knowledge” about the trans community before his best friend Harper Steele came out to him. "It’s a chance for all of us in the cis community to be able to ask questions and also just to listen and be there as a friend."
These gay for pay band members later said "disabled people do not know what it means to be a human being. They do not live, but function." And “A man has no right to be a fag…I just want my son to be a real man, not a fag.”
Throwback to when she said trans people are insane or when she said gender inclusive language was bullshit or when she spoke out against gender affirming care for minors or when...
I know that a lot of people are leaving Spotify and I am begging you please please if you go to a different site, spend the time to look up smaller artists, because they're not going to recommend them to you the same way that Spotify did.
Capitalism really has people out here saying shit like "stop complaining i grew up with only $5 after every paycheck and i turned out fine" like okay but have you considered that was also not good and we all deserve better ??
Blocking and muting transphobia only goes so far when y'all screenshot and repost it constantly. Like I understand sharing activism and major news, but you really do not need to dunk on every right wing podcaster.
It's a personal allegory y'all. The creator even loves this metaphor which is why i posted this. Literally view art however you want, that's the point.
There was no intentional transgender subtext but that doesn't mean the subtext isn't there. Art is open to the audience's interpretation. I'm pleased that Jenny's struggles resonate with some members of the transgender community.
So here is the full info about this track: Ned Sublette wrote this song in 1981, Willie Nelson famously covered the song in 2006, and this is another cover by both Willie and Orville.
Cool to see Willie still flying the flag and Orville bringing it to younger folks!
I don't feel very invisible lately but happy

💜❤️ Please remember that we have each other, let's try not to tear each other down for just a day. We're all tired.
Literally got ghosted by someone i thought was my friend for not wanting to hook up. Really hurt my feelings and i still sometimes stay up at night and get upset thinking about it.
